I have sweet children. While I was busy doing some other things, they planned a birthday surprise for me today. First, they decorated the living room where they were playing. Next, they made up a “party” game for me to play where I have to find foam ABC letters that they had hidden all around the room. I was to find them all in order from A to Z. Finally, they all gathered around me and sang “Happy Birthday”, followed by hugs and kisses. It is such a blessing to have thoughtful and caring children. What a wonderful and encouraging birthday present. I love being a Mommy.
Also, to make matters better, I found out this morning via e-mail, that I won a copy of the book “Passionate Housewives, Desperate for God “ written by Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald, from a contest that I entered over at http://www.noblewomanhood.com . I am so excited, I have heard so many good things about this book. I have been wanting to read it for a long while, and now I will be able to!
Not a bad way to turn 33 at all if you ask me!
